Upon graduating from AUCA in 2011, Nargiza had worked in several companies as an accountant before she co-founded a consulting company, Chekiroff Consult, in Moscow in 2016. Chekiroff Consult provides accounting services to more than 30 companies in Moscow, including some businesses created by Central Asian entrepreneurs. In 2016, her company was named “The Best Startup of the Year” by Delovaya Auditoria magazine. Furthermore, her team developed a mobile application to simplify communication between accountants and people in the business, which assured more accuracy, and sped up the accounting services. With the help of the mobile application, clients set tasks without spending time on phone calls.
More recently, driven by the desire to share her knowledge, Nargiza has developed accounting courses that she teaches during her frequent visits to her native Kyrgyzstan. During one such trip to Bishkek, Nargiza conducted a special training session on current trends in the accounting sphere, important accounting procedures, and personal finance for U.S.-CAEF fellows and alumni. In addition, Nargiza has contributed to U.S.-CAEF in other ways. She led a panel discussion on opportunities in the accounting sphere in the age of COVID-19 at the U.S.-CAEF alumni conference; took an active role in the alumni mentorship program; and was one of the alumni investors supporting the U.S.-CAEF Idea Pitch competition.
